Sinan Antoon (born 1967) ((アラビア語:سنان أنطون)), is an Iraqi poet, novelist, scholar, and an associate professor at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, New York University. He was featured in the 2003 documentary film ''About Baghdad,'' which he also co-directed. ==Background and career== Antoon was born in 1967 in Baghdad to an Iraqi father and American mother.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Biographies )〕 He received his B.A. in English from the University of Baghdad in 1990. He left Iraq in 1991 after the onset of the Gulf War and moved to the United States.
